I’m excited to share with you a new magazine that has just been launched called ‘Love Baking’.
It’s published by Origin Publishing who publish 20 magazines and have over 1 million readers. You may recognise some of their other magazine titles these include ‘The World of Cross Stitching’, ‘Card Making’ & ‘Perfect Wedding’.
The first edition of ‘Love Baking’ is a bumper baking pack which includes a cake stand, a pack of cupcake wrappers and cupcake toppers, all in a pretty pink and green theme.
There are lots of creative ideas for decorating cupcakes, cake pops and cookies for Christmas, as well as lots of other sweet bakes.
The festive Gingerbread recipe is definitely on the to-do list. I adore gingerbread at any time of year but it’s particularly appealing as the winter sets in. I’m going to bake and decorate a batch of gingerbread decorations to hang on the Christmas tree this year, having being inspired by this feature.
I’m loving the ‘Best Buys’ page, with its clean format, beautifully presented products, whilst being on trend and inspiring.

You’ll find our courses listed in the ‘Baking & Sugarcraft Courses’ guide of this issue. When the magazine got in touch and explained the kind of articles they’ll be covering (remember it’s their first issue) my initial thoughts were ‘Hooray’, as I’ve been waiting for a magazine like this to be available for some time. This was then followed by enthusiasm for Magenta Cakes to be involved.
I’d like to think this publication compliments my reader’s passion for cupcakes and sweet bakes, including the lovely students who come to our classes. Therefore I couldn’t resist sharing this magazine with you.
