I’m really enjoying this time of year. I always thought that Summer was my favourite season but I think this has changed over the last couple of years, particularly since I started my business. The emergence of colour after a long dark winter is a most welcome visitor – from the blossom trees, and spring flowers to the blue skies and sunshine.
From nature’s awakening, I feel I’m kind of awakening too! I seem to be brimming with lots of ideas. I’m bursting to try out lots more decorating for my cupcakes. Here are a couple of cupcakes I have been playing with which I thought I would share.
The Union Jack – currently very popular with the forthcoming Royal Wedding, I also like to think it symbolises not only a celebration and nostalgia, but a nation pulling together during tough economic times and finding strength to move forward.
A Butter cream Flower I recently made – eye catching, pink, pretty, sweet and spring-like!
